07About

I'm Chamod Shehanka, a software engineer from Sri Lanka focused on cloud-native systems — Go, Kubernetes, and the infrastructure that keeps production reliable.

I enjoy building backend services, platforms, and developer tooling that make complex systems easier to operate. That interest in the underlying infrastructure is what pulled me deep into the cloud-native ecosystem — contributing to open source, organizing conferences, and helping grow the community as a CNCF Ambassador.

Outside of engineering, I'm a 2nd Dan black belt in karate and spend my spare time chasing waves along the Sri Lankan coast. 🏄
